FROM FLORIDA TO ASHEVILLE ON ALLEGIANT AIR !!

 

Allegiant Air just announced an additional direct, non-stop flight from #AshevilleRegionalAirport to a new destination, Fort Myers / Punta Gorda, Florida.  Flights are now offered to and from Asheville by #AllegiantAir from:

- Fort Lauderdale
- Fort Myers / Punta Gorda
- Orlando - Sanford
- St. Petersburg / Clearwater

Florida is already one of the top five destinations out of Asheville Regional Airport, to Orlando on #AirTran with 18,000 passengers annually.  The other four are Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, and Detroit.

LAKE LURE OLYMPIAD 2013

The long awaited Lake Lure Olympiad is being held 23-25 August 2013 in the Hickory Nut Gorge area of Western North Carolina.  The #LakeLureOlympiad is three days of family fun.  It includes athletic events for all ages, and festivals including BBQs, water ski shows, and even a Family Fun Run.  The events are hosted, in part, by #RumblingBaldResort and #ChimneyRockStatePark.  This is a #MrLakeLure top pick for a family weekend!!
